Coca-cola's new creative ad centres around Coke and food, showcased families around the world cooking and having fun time together in the kitchen during the current pandemic.
Coke x Anomaly have launched a new global platform for Coke and Food called ‘Together Tastes Better’ – a fully integrated program comprising a new film, initiatives to support local restaurants, and a partnership with Disney, Lin Manuel and Jose Andres to bring families together to celebrate the Hamilton premiere. This is part of the first work created by Anomaly since their appointment on Coke. (Source: Ibbonline.com)
“We’ve realized that the things that matter deserve time… From now, we are not going to leave anything on our plates because we’ve learned to savor the moments that were always there. #togethertastesbetter“
Coca-Cola’s Youtube Channel
Filmed remotely during the Covid-19 quarantine, the film showcases 13 real families, couples, housemates in households from eight different cities around the world including Orlando, Shanghai, Lisbon, Kiev, London, Mumbai, and Mexico City, to celebrate the joy of cooking and reconnecting. The people in the film cook their own food and follow their own recipes.
“We wanted to bring to life, in the most authentic and respectful way, the role that food has been playing in our lives these days,” Anomaly group creative director Laura Sampedro tells Muse. “Yes, in this ad people share smiles and Cokes, but they also share tears and uncertainty as they go through these messy and strange times.”
