FASHION BRAND DIESEL TELLS AN UNLIKELY DREAM OF RELIGION AND TRANSGENDER RIGHTS

In the U.S, in landmark case, Supreme Court rules LGBTQ workers are protected from job discrimination; LGBTQ+ community deserves to celebrate this.

Fashion marketer Diesel has always urged its young fans to walk their own path, since Go With The Flaw campaign in 2017. According to Diesel founder, Renzo Rosso, the brand’s values include the belief that “individuality, pride and the power to live as one wants is the ultimate success in life.”

Film by Publicis Italy follows Francesca, a young woman who learns to embrace her true identity, who eventually becomes a nun, and that’s the twist.

Model-activist Harlow Monroe, herself a trans woman, stars as Francesca. She said she responded to the material and the character. “We both made our truths a reality, and now we can tell the world our story,” she said in a statement.
